Dr. Islam completed her medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine internship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida.
She completed fellowship training in glaucoma at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Dr. Islam is a board-certified ophthalmologist through the American Board of Ophthalmology.
